The University of Iowa women's soccer team played a third straight double overtime scoreless tie Sunday afternoon at Minnesota.
The Hawkeyes set a program record for shutouts in a season, earning their 10th of the year with five regular-season matches remaining. Iowa had nine shutouts last season.
The 11-1-3 (2-1-3 Big Ten) Hawkeyes, who are undefeated in their past five Big Ten games, improved their active shutout streak to 331 minutes. Iowa last scored a goal on September 23rd, a 3-2 win over Purdue. Since then, they have played 0-0 road games against Michigan, Michigan State and Minnesota.
The Hawkeyes host Ohio State Friday night.
