Nebraska finished its Big Ten Conference road schedule a perfect 5-0 as Jordan Jackson's goal in the 24th minute gave the Huskers a 1-0 win at Minnesota Sunday afternoon.
The lone tally occurred at 23:18 when Katie Kraeutner found Jackson with a through ball that Jackson slotted into the right corner of the net past Minnesota goalie Tarah Hobbs. The goal was Jackson's seventh of the year (33rd career) and extended her scoring streak to four consecutive games.
Senior goalkeeper Emma Stevens surpassed former Husker Erin Miller to become the all-time leader in saves. Stevens made six stops Sunday and sits alone in first place with 245 career saves.
NU is now 12-3-1 and 7-1 atop the Big Ten, notching its highest conference win total since 2001 and fourth shutout of the year. Nebraska has won 10 of its last 11 matches for the first time since 2002.
Minnesota (9-5-2, 2-4-2 Big Ten) finished with a 20-16 advantage in shot attempts while the Huskers had a 9-6 edge in shots on goal.
