Huskers Finish Season 23rd and 25th in Polls
After an up and down season, Nebraska football finished in the top 25 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls.
The AP voted the Huskers as the 25th best team in the nation, while the coaches ranked Nebraska 23rd.
Alabama topped both polls after their win over Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship.
The highest ranked Big Ten team was Ohio State in the AP poll. They were not eligible for the USA Today Top 25 because of NCAA penalties. Northwestern was the highest ranked team in that poll, at number 16.
