A pair of corner kicks from sophomore Caroline Gray led Nebraska to a 2-1 win over Indiana Sunday afternoon in Lincoln.
Mayme Conroy (at 63:49) and Jaylyn Odermann (at 68:31) each scored off a corner kick from Gray less than five minutes apart in the second half. Conroy, a sophomore from Omaha, leads NU (5-5-1, 2-1-0 Big Ten) with six goals after scoring just one as a true freshman last season.
The Hoosiers broke up the shutout with :15 left in regulation. NU goalie Emma Stevens posted six saves and was in position on Indiana's lone goal, but following a corner kick, the ball was batted around by both teams in front of the goal and Caitlin O'Connor was able to sneak a shot past Stevens for her first of the season.
