Tanner Lubach homered in the 11th inning to give Nebraska a 7-6 win over Indiana Saturday night in Minneapolis. The Huskers now face the Hoosiers again Sunday afternoon for the Big Ten title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Nebraska took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Indiana came back to take a 5-2 lead. The Huskers scored two in the sixth and two in the seventh for a 6-5 lead, but the Hoosiers would tie it in the ninth.

Earlier Saturday, Christian DeLeon threw eight shutout innings in Nebraska's 5-0 win over Ohio State. DeLeon beat Buckeye starter Jaron Long for the second time this season after also out-dueling Long in Lincoln during the series opener between the two teams in Lincoln. DeLeon gave up five hits and two walks over his 8.0 innings while striking out three.

After walking the lead-off batter in the bottom of the ninth, head coach Darin Erstad lifted DeLeon for freshman Jeff Chesnut, who made quick work of the Buckeyes with a fly out and a 6-4-3 double play that secured the shutout.

The Huskers got a lead-off double from Rich Sanguinetti in the fourth. After Pat Kelly flew out, Michael Pritchard lined a single up the middle for a 1-0 lead. Chad Christensen lined out to right, but Kash Kalkowski followed with a single putting runners at first and second for Blake Headley, who knocked a double that put Nebraska ahead 3-0.

They added two more runs in the eighth. Sanguinetti reached on a bunt single and Kelly followed with a single. Pritchard sacrificed both into scoring position and Christensen lined an 0-2 pitch up the middle that scored Sanguinetti and Kelly, extending NU’s lead to 5-0.
