Huskers Dominate Southeast Missouri State 4-0

The Huskers put up a season-high 30 shots while allowing just one shot in a 4-0 shutout of Southeast Missouri State Saturday afternoon in Lincoln.

Four different Huskers scored while Emma Stevens and Amy Swearer combined for NU's second shutout of the season. Nebraska's defense swarmed the Redhawks' attack as they failed to get a shot off until the 86-minute mark.

The Huskers (3-4-0) held an 11-0 shot advantage in the first half, including six on goal, but SEMO (1-5-1) goalie Aston Aubuchon came through with six saves to keep NU off the board and keep the game scoreless at halftime.

Caroline Gray's first goal of the season on a free kick broke the deadlock at 50:48. Mayme Conroy delivered her team-leading third goal of the season at 60:42 to make it 2-0.

Hannah Dittmar scored off a corner kick from Gray at 72:42 and less than a minute later Stacy Bartels found net for goal number four.
