Three Iowa football players, including starting cornerback Micah Hyde, were arrested Saturday morning in separate incidents.
The 21-year-old Hyde was arrested at an Iowa City bar on suspicion of public intoxication and interference with official acts. A police report says he was among a group of people who refused to leave the bar at closing time and fought with the bar's staff.
Back-up tight end Ray Hamilton was arrested at a different bar on suspicion of being underage at a bar after 10 p.m. and reserve offensive lineman Drew Clark was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
Hyde, Clark and Iowa athletics officials did not return messages left Saturday seeking comment. Hamilton, reached at his campus residence, declined to comment.
The Hawkeyes were off on Saturday. They play at Michigan State next Saturday.
