Olympic gold medalist, wrestler Jordan Burroughs, will be showing off his new hardware to patients and families at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha on Thursday.
Burroughs’ visit begins at 1 p.m. in the hospital’s atrium. Children’s patients will have the opportunity to meet Burroughs, see his gold medal and get his autograph.
Burroughs earned three Big 12 titles and two NCAA national championships while wrestling for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His success continued after graduation with a number of American and world championships.
