The first three Iowa football games of 2012 will start at 2:30 p.m. The Big Ten Conference released the schedule information Thursday afternoon.
The Hawkeyes open the season September 1st against Northern Illinois at Soldier Field in Chicago before returning home to Kinnick Stadium to host Iowa State (September 8th) in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series and Northern Iowa on September 15th.
Iowa's home games against the Cyclones and Panthers will be televised on BTN while the season-opener against the Huskies will air on ESPNU.
Start times for eight of the Hawkeyes' 12 regular season games have now been announced. Home games against Minnesota (September 29th) and Nebraska (November 23rd) will start at 11 a.m. while the October 20th game against Penn State will begin at 7 p.m. at Kinnick Stadium.
Hawkeye road games at Michigan State (October 13th) and Northwestern (October 27th) will also have an 11 a.m. kickoff. Iowa will be the homecoming opponent when it visits both East Lansing and Evanston.
Iowa games against Minnesota, Michigan State and Northwestern will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or BTN. The Penn State contest will be televised nationally on BTN while the "Heroes Game" against Nebraska will air nationally on ABC.
