Former Cyclones track coach Steve Lynn died Wednesday of injuries suffered in a fall at his home last week.
Iowa State says the 61-year-old died at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Lynn, an Oskaloosa native, began a 30-year career with Iowa State as an assistant in 1977. Lynn spent 14 years as the head of the track program and his sprinters and hurdlers combined to earn 56 All-America honors.
Lynn also coached his daughter Erica and son Scott at Iowa State. He had served as the executive director of the Iowa Senior Olympics since 2009.
