End Of The Line For Lancers, Eliminated In Four

The Lancers saw their season come to an end Saturday night in Waterloo as the Black Hawks won 5-1 to take the series 3-1.

With the win, Waterloo now advances to face the Lincoln Stars in the Western Conference Finals.

Omaha took a 1-0 lead as Greg Gozzo forced a defensive zone take away and set up Ken Babinski who launched his second goal of the playoffs inside the left post 4:17 into the first period.

The rest of the night belonged to the Black Hawks. Ian McCoshen (17:37) and Aaron Pearce (18:36) scored for a 2-1 lead after one. McCoshen added another goal on a power-play at 17:21 of period two.

Pearce scored his second goal of the game into an empty net at 18:18 of the third and Mike Huntebrinker cleaned up a rebound at the top of the goal crease with :14 remaining.
