Creighton Ties Akron In Exhibition Play
Ribeiro finds net for Jays The Creighton men's soccer team played to a 1-1 exhibition tie against defending NCAA champion Akron at the ShinDigz National Soccer Festival Saturday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Creighton men's soccer team played to a 1-1 exhibition tie against defending NCAA champion Akron at the ShinDigz National Soccer Festival Saturday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Junior Andrew Ribeiro's bicycle kick goal midway through the first half put the Bluejays in front. Akron evened the match late in the first half on a goal by sophomore Darren Mattocks.
Creighton remains in Indiana for another exhibition game at Notre Dame Monday night.
