The Creighton men's soccer team extended its shutout streak of Missouri Valley Conference opponents to 1272:54 as the Jays downed Missouri State 1-0 Saturday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.
Timo Pitter scored the game's only goal at the 19:26 mark, his seventh of the season. Jeff Gal did the rest in goal with the help of his defense.
The win lifted Creighton to 12-3-2 on the season and 4-0-1 in the MVC while Missouri State fell to 5-7-4 overall and 0-5-0 in conference play.
