La'Cassie Wins Cox Classic In Sudden Death

The Cox Classic came down to a sudden death playoff Sunday afternoon at Champions run in Omaha between Matt Bettencourt and Bronson La’Cassie, won by La’Cassie.

On the third extra hole, Bettencourt made a bogey on the 18th while La’Cassie made a par putt to win the tournament, earning a check worth $144,000. He finished sixth on the Web.Com Tour money list.

John Peterson finished third followed by D.J. Brigman and Kevin Tway.
