Central Christian's Gary Kaelon scored in the paint with :21 remaining to give the Tigers' a 71-70 upset win over Bellevue Friday night in McPherson, Kansas.
Kaelon scored the game's final four points as CCC (15-9, 4-4 MCAC) erased a 70-67 deficit in the game's final minute. Kaleon led the Tigers with 15 points and four rebounds.
Bellevue held the Tigers' leading scorer and reigning MCAC player of the week Chris Jones to nine points and 10 rebounds. He scored 33 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in the Bruins' 93-62 win last Friday in Bellevue.
James Parrott paced the Bruins with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Bellevue (19-5) suffered its first conference loss (7-1 in the MCAC) and saw its 12-game winning streak end.
