Stephanie Thompson fired a shot from 15 yards out that beat goalkeeper Katie Jo Swanson in the 79th minute to lift Evansville to a 1-0 win over Creighton Saturday in Omaha.
It was the Jays fifth 1-0 loss of the season and the seventh loss by one goal.
Thompson's unassisted tally came at the 78:48 mark. Simone Busby made eight saves for the shutout.
The Bluejays are 3-11-2 and 0-5-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Purple Aces improved to 5-7-3 and 4-1-1 in the MVC.
