Brown Wins Nebraska Match Play Title

Bryce Brown of Lincoln became the NGA's 47th Nebraska Match Play Champion Friday defeating Carson Schaake of Omaha 2 and 1 in the tournament's 36-hole final.

Brown, who was 4 down following the weather delayed morning session, was propelled by 9 birdies in his afternoon round. Down two with five holes remaining, Brown won holes 32-35 to close out Schaake on the Country Club's 17th hole.
