Nebraska continued its week of practices leading up to Saturday's game against Penn State at Memorial Stadium. The Huskers practiced in jerseys and helmets for approximately 90 minutes on Wednesday afternoon.

Running backs coach Ron Brown reflected on the game that was played a year ago in State College. “Last year was a tremendous shock to the system, the players had to find something deep down inside. The thing that really sticks out to me is how Penn State prepared for the game after what they had to go through.”

Brown went on to talk about the scrutiny that Penn State has had to face since last year and how he has used that to teach a lesson to the Husker players.

“I told the guys, if you think about it the NCAA allowed other teams to go onto their campus and recruit their players. They have had tremendous, mass chaos there and for them to be playing the way they are attributes to their character. I don’t think I have more respect for any team right now than Penn State.”

Brown expects the running backs to have a tough test against the stout Nittany Lions defensive line, even though Penn State’s star senior defensive tackle Jordan Hill could miss the game due to injury.
