Bluejays Rip Houston 75-54

McKenzie Fujan scored a career-high 20 points to lead Creighton to a 75-54 win at Houston Saturday afternoon.

The Bluejays (5-2) struggled early as Houston scored the first five points and pushed its lead to 14-7 with 14:45 left in the first half. Coming out of a timeout, Sarah Nelson hit the Jays first three-pointer, which ignited a 13-4 run.

The Cougars (4-6) would close out the half on a 13-2 run of their own to take a 33-25 halftime lead. The second half belonged to Creighton as the Jays out-scored Houston 50-21.

Marissa Janning chipped in 15 points for CU. Porsche Landry led Houston with 14.
