Missouri State edged Creighton 3-2 Friday night at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.

The Bluejays opened the scoring in the first as Brad McKewon legged out an infield single, moved to second on a sacrifice by Federico Castagnini, took third on a passed ball and scored on Jake Peter's ground out.

The Bears answered with single runs in the third and fourth, taking advantage of two throwing errors to score in the third. The Bears got back-to-back singles to open the fourth and eventually took the lead on a sacrifice fly by shortstop Travis McComack.

The Jays had pulled even in the fourth as Peter drew a lead-off walk, went to second on a sacrifice from Alex Staehely and scored on Reagan Fowler's triple.
