Albuquerque Blows Lead, Comes Back To Beat Omaha

The Storm Chasers rallied from a four-run deficit to take the lead, but lost 6-5 at Albuquerque Sunday night.

Trailing 4-0, Max Ramirez led off the sixth inning with his 17th home run. Wil Myers followed with a single and Clint Robinson walked. Jason Bourgeois bunted both runners over for Rey Navarro, who doubled home two runs. Adam Moore brought in Navarro with his sixth homer of the year to give Omaha a 5-4 lead.

Trent Oeltjen’s RBI double in the seventh tied the game. In the eighth, Dee Gordon reached on a bunt single, advanced to third on Elian Herrera’s single and scored on Josh Fields sacrifice fly to put the Isotopes ahead 6-5.

The Storm Chasers had the potential tying run at third with one out in the ninth, but Max Ramirez struck out swinging and Myers flew out to center.
