The Huskers wrapped up practice for the week Wednesday afternoon with a two-hour workout in preparation for Friday's regular-season finale at Colorado.

The players started outdoors, but moved inside the Hawks Championship Center because of the strong wind.

"It was a short week, there was a lot to do, a lot to clean up," said coach Bo Pelini. "It was a good day though. I feel good about what we've accomplished up to this point, but it just heightens the mental preparation that has to be done between now and game time, to make sure we get up to speed. It's just part of the deal."

Pelini said the Thanksgiving holiday and the fact that NU has already clinched the Big 12 North have not affected his team's focus this week.

"It hasn't been an issue. I haven't heard one mention of the Big 12 championship game or the holiday or anything else. Our kids have had good focus and I think they're excited to play."

Nebraska will hold a walk-thru practice Thursday morning in Lincoln and then have a Thanksgiving dinner with families before heading to Boulder in the afternoon.
