Passed over by the NCAA Tournament selection committee for the big dance, Creighton and Nebraska were tabbed by the National Invitation Tournament Sunday night.

Passed over by the NCAA Tournament selection committee for the big dance, Creighton and Nebraska were tabbed by the National Invitation Tournament Sunday night.

The 26-7 Bluejays are headed to the NIT as a top seed and will host 19-13 Bowling Green in a first-round game 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Qwest Center. The 18-12 Huskers will play at 21-11 New Mexico at 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
