Adam Heether greeted reliever Greg Atencio with a double to lead off the eighth inning and pinch runner Hernan Iribarren later scored on a sac fly by Vinny Rottino to give the Sounds a 3-2 win over the Royals Monday night in Nashville.

Omaha took a 2-1 lead on Kila Ka'aihue's seventh home run, a two-run shot in the fourth. The Sounds tied it in the sixth on Heether's 10th home run.

Mitch Stetter (3-3) got the win and Atencio (1-1) was charged with the loss.

The Royals return to Rosenblatt Stadium to open up a homestand against Albuquerque at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
