Nebraska wiped out a 10-point lead in the final 5:34 to defeat Missouri 73-67 Sunday afternoon in Columbia.
With the Tigers up 61-51, the Huskers went on a 13-2 run. Kelsey Griffin's layup gave Nebraska its first lead of the game, 64-63, with 2:32 on the clock.
A layup by freshman Shakara Jones gave the lead back to Missouri, but the Huskers answered with another layup from Griffin to give NU the lead for good with 1:55 left.
Missouri held a 31-23 advantage at halftime. Nebraska scored the first four points of the second stanza to cut the deficit in half. The Tigers responded with an 8-2 run, capped when Alyssa Hollins made a steal and found freshman Jasmyn Otote for a layup to give Missouri a 39-29 advantage with 16:13 remaining.
After Nebraska cut Missouri's lead to eight points, Hollins responded again with consecutive three-pointers to give the Tigers a 57-43 lead with 8:31 left.
Nebraska goes to 16-6 overall and 5-3 in league play while Missouri falls to 8-13 overall and 1-7 in the Big 12.
