A College World Series fan injured Sunday returned to TD Ameritrade Park Thursday afternoon for the Arizona-Florida State game.
“I seen the foul ball coming at me and it was coming so fast so I put my arm up and I got hit in the arm with the ball,” said Helen Wynia of Oakland, Nebraska. “That saved my face, I think."
Despite getting 26 stitches on the outside of her right arm and five stitches on the inside, Helen was back with her daughter. Helen said foul balls and getting hit are just part of baseball.
