Nebraska may have landed their quarterback of the future today. Johnny Stanton of Rancho Santa Margarita in Southern California has verbally committed to Nebraska. Stanton, who is 6'2" and 220lbs. passed up offers from Oregon and Wisconsin to become a Husker. Scout.com ranks Stanton as a 4-star dual threat quarterback. Last year he passed for 13 touchdowns and ran for 25 touchdowns. Good catch for the Big Red.
