ESPN/ABC announced Friday the kickoff time and television information for Nebraska’s regular-season finale against Iowa on Friday, November 29th. The third annual Heroes Game at Memorial Stadium will be televised on ABC with kickoff set for 11 a.m.

The Nebraska-Iowa game will be played on Black Friday for the third straight year. Nebraska has defeated Iowa in each of the first two Heroes Games, winning 20-7 in Lincoln in 2011 and posting a 13-7 win at Iowa City last season.

Nebraska owns a 28-12-3 all-time advantage in the series between the schools and has won each of the past five meetings. NU is 14-2-1 against the Hawkeyes in Lincoln.

The 2013 match-up will mark the 24th straight season Nebraska has played on the day after Thanksgiving. Nebraska played Oklahoma from 1990 to 1995 in the final six seasons of the Big Eight Conference and Colorado on that day in each of the 15 seasons the two schools were in the Big 12 Conference (1996-2010). Nebraska has an 18-5 record in its 23-year streak of playing on Black Friday.

The Huskers have learned kickoff times for four of its eight home games in 2013. In addition to Friday’s announcement, the Huskers’ game times have also been set for Wyoming on August 31st (7 p.m., BTN), Southern Miss on September 7th (5 p.m., BTN) and Illinois on October 5th (11 a.m., TV TBD), the annual Homecoming game.
