Foodies, located just north of 78th and Dodge, had 14 violations present when inspectors visited in August 2013.
10 were critical, and included a dish washing machine with no sanitation detected. Inspectors also found a problem with the temperatures of some foods at the restaurant. Sliced cheese and chicken salad were found at 47 degrees. Tuna was found at 48 degrees. Foods such as these, that require refrigeration, are supposed to be kept at or below 41 degrees.
In a statement -- owners told WOWT 6 News, “We are appreciative of the Health Department and the routine checks. A few concerns were brought to our attention in August of 2013 during our inspection and we rectified them immediately to provide our customers the best experience as possible. We thank our customers for their support and look forward to seeing them soon.”
When inspectors returned in September they only found 2 of the original 14 violations remained.
