Douglas County Health Inspectors visited Anthony's Restaurant and Lounge near 72nd and F on October 29th. Inside, they found 6 critical violations and 17 non-critical.
According to the report the restaurant improperly used rodent bait packages to control pests. Pest treatment chemicals were found in the meat prep areas.
They were also cited for storing raw chicken above other meats. A month later inspectors stopped by and things improved. Of the 23 violations, only one remained.
Managers did not want to comment on the report.
