Douglas County health inspectors reported nine critical violations at the China Palace.
In May, inspectors found beef stored at 46 degrees and chicken at 49 degrees. They also noted that the restaurant was thawing foods in pails with standing water.
According to the report, inspectors told China Palace that they must routinely clean and sanitize filthy food bins. Inspectors also noted the wiping pals, behind the bar, were filled with dirty water.
Managers declined to comment to WOWT 6 News. Health inspectors did follow-up the next day; however, the report has not been made available to the public.
