UPDATE: Since our first review, Grisanti's has made several changes. The Douglas County Health Department returned in November 2013 for a follow-up and found that all violations previously listed had been corrected.
When Douglas County inspectors visited the restaurant in September, they found the dishwasher didn't have any cleaning chemicals and was only reaching a temperature of 125 degrees, meaning silverware and plates weren't properly sanitized. They also noted broken handwashing sinks in the kitchen and bar areas, as well as, a fly problem.
When WOWT 6 News visited Grisanti's, an employee said the manager was unavailable.
