PUMPKIN PIE
Prepared by Virginia Whitfield from Alaga Syrup Co.
Ingredients
1 unbaked pastry for 9 inch pie
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 cup Alaga Cane Syrup
1/4 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Butter or margarine
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions
Line a deep pie plate with pastry. Combine ingredients above in order given and pour into pastry (unbaked) crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until custard is form in the center.
