Cream Cheese Pound Cake With Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

Cake

  • 3 sticks butter or margarine
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla


  • Frosting

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 large can Pet Milk
  • 9 tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1 stick margarine
  • Enough warm water to wet.


Directions

Cake

In mixer cream butter and sugar, beat until fluffy. Add eggs 2 at a time and beat well. The longer you beat, the lighter the cake texture. Sift flour three times. Add a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavoring last. Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.

Frosting

Mix all ingredients and let come to a boil. Stir and cook until it starts to get thick. Let cool and pour over cake.
