Reaching for what's ahead

Hi all from Atlanta. Forgive me it's been 30 days since my last blog! Well yesterday was my birthday I am 52 years old. You guys I never never knew that my life could be so wonderful. When I went for my final assessment at Alegent last Saturday all my levels have dropped significantly or are normal.
I have lost 12 pounds and dropped 2 dress sizes. Do you know how long it's been since I wore something that the size did not begin with 20 or "x"? 20 years!
I was a little upset yesterday because since I have been on vacation I have been eating whatever I want and have only sought out the gym and exercised once. My stomach was upset because I have been feeding it all kinds of crazy things. I can't wait to get home and back to normal.
But here's the thing. I brought along a suit that was tight when I bought it 3 years ago. So I'm feeling bad getting ready to go to church I put the suit on and…..it slips right on! It's actually a little baggy! And for the first time in a long time I look in the mirror and think "you go girl you actually look good". I almost cried.
I keep catching my husband looking at me. You know that look you got when you were first dating. I keep asking him what? His reply is oh nothing.
I am sorry the program is ending so soon. I know that I have all the tools I need but I wish there was something ongoing for continued support. Maybe we should have a BetterU 2 or BetterU Advanced. What do you think ladies?
Paul says in the book of Philippians 3:13
Of course, my friends, I really do not think that I have already won it; the one thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my best to reach what is ahead.
Thank goodness I really can forget my behind (smile) and reach to what is ahead 50 pounds and a better me. Attached is my latest video showing how the BetterU program is inspiring my church.
