Skyfari will operate roundtrips only Friday, Saturday and Sundays and only from noon to 3 p.m. It will be closed Monday through Thursday.

The tram and Sue’s Carousel are open daily from noon to 3 p.m. The train will run on Saturday and Sunday from noon - 3 p.m.

All rides are open, weather-permitting. They will not operate if there is rain, snow or ice or on days when the temperature is not expected to reach 50 degrees by 1 p.m.

When the snow does fall, the zoo offers a chance to escape the elements.

Visitors who fancy the arid air can travel through the Desert Dome. If the tropics are more to your liking, you can hike through the Lied Jungle rainforest and relax while sharks and sting rays hover above you in the Scott Aquarium.

In addition to the indoor exhibits, the Lozier IMAX® Theater has two great shows, Wild Safari 3D and Under the Sea 3D. Call (402) 330-IMAX or visit the Zoo's Web site for show time schedule.

The Henry Doorly Zoo is located at Nebraska’s I-80, Exit 454 and is open year-round from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.

Admission prices for 2009 are $11.50 for adults, $7.75 for children (ages 3 – 11) and $10 for seniors. Household memberships are available for $73 until December 31, 2009.
