Thieves are breaking through walls and cutting through doors to get inside detached garages and storage sheds. In at least five break-ins that follow that pattern the object of their desire is the same, motorcycles.
The most recent was in south Omaha this week and happened while the family was sleeping. "There had to be four or five of them because the bike weighs 800 pounds and to break in they had to hold open two metal doors," speculated Andrea Lux. Her husband's favorite toy, a 1991 Vulcan was stolen along with a generator in the burglary.
