Banana Butters
What's in There
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 jar creamy peanut butter

    Slice the bananas into thin bite-size pieces.

    On one vanilla wafer spread peanut butter. Add one slice of banana and another vanilla wafer to complete the Banana Butters.

    Fruit Pockets

    Fruit Filling
    4 apples sliced thin
    2 teaspoons margarine
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon brown sugar

    Add ingredients to saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes and then set aside.

    Phyllo Pastry
    1 pkg frozen Phyllo pastry
    1 egg white

    While still frozen, cut into squares. Let set for 10 minutes.

    Fold pastry over filling to make triangle; press edges with fingers to seal. Place on cookie sheet. Brush top of triangles with egg whites. Sprinkle tops with sugar.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown

    Meatball Broccoli Sliders

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

    Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Shape into balls placing one or two broccoli florets into the center of each meatball.

    Place meatballs on un-greased cookie sheet

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 10 minutes or until brown.

    Assemble Meatball Sliders
    Place on small buns.

    Add ketchup, mustard, etc. as desired.

    Personal Pizza
    Marinara Sauce
  • 1 can -12oz. whole peeled tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic

    Heat oil in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and simmer till light brown.

    Pour tomatoes into colander and mash then add mashed tomatoes into saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add remaining tomato juice, basil, salt, pepper and sugar into saucepan and simmer till sauce is thick (about 50 minutes).

    Or, substitute one can of pizza sauce.

    Pizza Crust
    1 pkg of Betty Crocker Pizza Pie Crust mix Follow package direction to make the pizza crust.

    Assemble Personal Pizza
    Let each person shape their own pizza crust. Add toppings of their taste.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 16 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
