Five thousand of these children live in Nebraska -- more than 1,200 live right here in Omaha. One needs your help today.
CASA advocates are trained volunteers from the community who are appointed by a judge to advocate for a child who has been a victim of neglect or abuse.
Judges rely on the information CASA volunteers provide to decide whether these children should be adopted, reunited with their families or placed in foster care.
