Trooper Feared Swept Away in Flood

Trooper Fred Guthrie, Jr was last seen Monday afternoon west of Mount City, Missouri. He and his Patrol K-9 named Reed were working Missouri River flood duty in the area of Big Lake on Missouri Highway 118 when they were apparently swept away. The patrol describes the flood water in the area as swift.
