An Omaha woman was injured in a one car crash near 56th and Center around 8:30 Wednesday night.
According to police, 57-year-old Fred Williams was westbound on Center when his car suddenly swerved into a pole. Police say there was no evidence of pre-impact braking.
A passenger in the car, 28-year-old Danielle Bennet of Omaha suffered a concussion and was taken to Creighton University Medical Center. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
Williams was cited for Driving Under the Influence, driving during suspension, no insurance and colliding with a fixed object.
