A UNO student was injured Wednesday afternoon in an explosion during a chemistry lab in the Durham Science Center.
She was reportedly awake and alert when paramedics arrived around 1:30 p.m. She was treated at the Nebraska Medical Center and is expected to be released Wednesday evening.
UNO is looking into the cause of the blast. The Durham Science Center and labs remain open.
