Another arrest has been made in connection with the shooting earlier this month of a Council Bluffs woman and her toddler.

Police say 22-year-old Heather Wilson was caught in the middle of a drug deal gone bad. She was hit 11 times. Her 19-month-old son Tyson Underwood was wounded in the arm. The shooting happened at the Indian Hills Village Apartments near McPherson Avenue and Arbor Crest Lane just before 6 a.m. on February 12th.

Her boyfriend, Nathan Underwood, has been arrested. He is out on bond, facing drug and child endangerment charges. Police say the shooting suspect knew Underwood. Ronald Lee Farr is in jail, accused of attempted murder.

The family has set up a fund at all First National Bank locations. Just ask for the Heather Wilson Fund.
