Woman Gets Probation In Lincoln Fake ID Case

A woman has been given a year of probation for using another person's Social Security number to get a job in Lincoln.

Forty-four-year-old Hercilia Rodas had made a plea deal with prosecutors. They lowered the charge to misdemeanor criminal impersonation from felony identity theft.

Rodas was sentenced on Tuesday.

Court documents say Rodas paid $200 for a Social Security number and identification that she used in April 2009 to get the job.
