A Lincoln man is in the hospital and his girlfriend is in jail after police say she stabbed him during an argument Thursday morning.
Twenty-six-year-old Tracy Earl faces charges of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Police say she stabbed her 32-year-old boyfriend in the stomach with a paring knife inside their residence near South 24th and Randolph streets just before 2:30 a.m.
Earl was located a short time later at a convenience store at 27th and E. The victim's injuries were not considered to be life threatening.
