Winter refuses to go away and stay away. Scattered flurries dotted the landscape this morning reminding us that the calendar says Spring, but it's anything but springlike.
Through the afternoon expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures today running a solid 10° below average...at best, topping off in the upper 40's to around 50. The coldest part of the week will be Tuesday through Thursday with highs only reaching the 30s and 40s and also a return to damp conditions. The best chance for rain will be late Tuesday night into Wednesday with the chance for scattered showers and isolated t-storms. The rain showers will likely linger into Thursday and will end as a rain/snow mix as colder air filters into the region. No accumulation is expected.
Friday, into next weekend, looks relatively quiet with dry conditions returning to the area and a slow warming trend as well.
