The August 23rd murder of Gilberto Hernandez-Vazquez remains unsolved. He was a popular man in the area around 19th & Y because for years, he was known as the Ice Cream Man.
On Tuesday, Omaha Police released a post pleading with someone who can help solve the crime to provide a tip. The U.S. Marshal is also a sponsor of the poster which advertises a $2,500 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
