A loud boom many people reported hearing in Omaha Saturday night turned out to be routine work being done by OPPD.
OPPD spokeswoman Jodi Baker said the noise was from a steam pressure relief valve opened during maintenance work at the North Omaha Station.
She said there was no reason for any concern.
