The Omaha man who was assaulted early Sunday has been upgraded to fair condition.
A man was hospitalized in critical condition with an injury to his head after being assaulted Sunday morning.
Police responding to a disturbance call found 22-year-old William Tatum lying in the street, at 164th and Leavenworth, shortly after one a.m. Officers told Channel 6 News they believe a fight may have broken out at a party in the area and spilled out onto the street.
It's believed three to five people assaulted Tatum. According to police reports, officers located several suspects for questioning. An update on possible arrests has not been made public.
