Very Cold Start, Gradual Warming Trend Begins

After the coldest start of the year expect gradual improvement over the next few days as milder temperatures return to the area.

Highs Friday afternoon will remain below average but will be a solid 10-15° milder than Thursday with highs in the middle 20s.

Saturday and Sunday temperatures will be in the upper 30s which is a few degrees warmer than our 35° average high.

Monday through Friday of next week look even milder with highs returning to the 40s.

Overnight lows will not be nearly as cold next week with lows expected in the middle 20s.

With the exception of some Friday evening snow showers no organized areas of precipitation are in the forecast.
